Overall Pass@1 gives each of the 17 task families equal weight. Domain columns average their own families. Inference cost per task attempt includes failures and source estimates, uses the score's family weights, and excludes lab and labor costs. C5R captured the source tariffs on September 9, 2026. Model links are for navigation; these scores stay outside overall and category rankings.

How to read this leaderboard

Overall Pass@1 gives each task family equal weight. Chemistry contains 7 families, biology 5, materials 4, and cross-domain 1; averaging the four domain percentages equally would produce a different score.

Operator receipt: 6 sourced rows are currently displayable on this page; the leading published row is Claude Fable 5.1 at 45.3%.

Honest limit: These results evaluate each model with its agent and facility harness. They stay outside overall and category rankings. Cost covers inference per task attempt, including failures and source estimates, and excludes laboratory and labor costs.

How we show SciUniverse Level 1

The October 15, 2026 snapshot keeps C5R's Level 1 results. The 17 task families receive equal overall weight; chemistry has 7 families, biology 5, materials 4, and cross-domain 1.

The rows evaluate models inside the C5R facility harness. We keep them display only, outside overall and category rankings. Model links are for navigation and do not add these scores to model profiles.

The published SciUniverse Level 1 snapshot places Claude Fable 5.1 first at 45.3%. The third row is 14.8 points behind. The broader top-10 range is 35.9 points, so the table still separates the published systems.

6 model-harness configurations are shown for SciUniverse Level 1. The benchmark falls in the Agentic category. We keep external benchmark mirrors separate from the weighted global scoring system, so these results remain source-specific evidence. SciUniverse Level 1 is currently displayed for reference but excluded from the scoring formula, so it does not directly affect overall rankings.
