Who is responsible
BenchLM is operated by the owner identified before launch. Privacy questions may be sent to contact BenchLM on X.
Information we collect
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics, Fathom Analytics, and Ahrefs Web Analytics may receive pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, device and browser information, and interaction events. Their scripts stay blocked until you choose Allow analytics in the preference panel.
Newsletter signup records may include an email address, source page, country or market policy, consent state and version, signup status, and delivery timestamps. Cloudflare provides request and security metadata needed to operate the site and protect the signup endpoint.
Recognized search and AI crawlers are measured separately using the requested path, request method, timestamp, and crawler name. That crawler feed excludes raw IP addresses, query strings, and the crawler's full user-agent string.
How information is used
- Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve BenchLM.
- Measure which research, tools, and navigation are useful.
- Send requested newsletter messages and maintain unsubscribe state.
- Detect automated abuse and enforce hashed signup-rate limits.
Service providers and external links
Cloudflare hosts application infrastructure and newsletter storage. Resend delivers newsletter email. Analytics providers process usage data under their own terms. Affiliate and source links lead to independent sites with separate privacy practices.
Storage and retention
BenchLM uses browser storage for interface preferences, your analytics choice, newsletter status, popup frequency, and stable experiment variants. Newsletter and consent records are retained as needed to provide the service, honor unsubscribe requests, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Rate-limit records store one-way hashes rather than raw IP addresses and expire from the active table.
Your choices
Analytics are off until you opt in. You can review or change that choice at any time through Analytics choices in the footer. You may unsubscribe using any newsletter link. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection by contacting contact BenchLM on X. Some records may be retained where necessary to honor an unsubscribe or legal requirement.

Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
