What the notice period actually promises

At least 60 days’ notice before retirement for publicly released models, to customers with active deployments. Email to customers with active deployments, plus the documentation.

These dates apply to Anthropic-operated platforms — the Claude API, Claude Platform on AWS, and Microsoft Foundry. Amazon Bedrock and Google Cloud publish their own retirement schedules, which are not reproduced here.
